Beverage and its classification:

First we need to know what is beverage, so beverage is drink other than Water.That means beverage is something you drink, beverage has many classification.today we Will know about them and I will explain step by step.

So, beverage has been devided into two categories:

               1.Alcoholic beverage.
               2.Non alcoholic beverage.

Alcoholic beverages

Alcoholic beverage are those beverage which contain alcohol.

And Alcoholic beverage are classified into two categories:

           • fermented
           • Distilled

What is fermented beverage:

Fermented beverage are those beverage which are made from the fermentation process.

What is fermentation process

Fermentation is a metabolic process that produces chemical change through the action of enzymes.

Fermented beverage are classified below:

             • Wine
             • Beer
             • Perry
             • Cider

What is distilled beverage:

Distilled beverage are those beverage which are made from the distillation process.

What is distillation process:

Distillation is the process of separating the components or substances from a liquid mixture by using selective boiling and condention.

Distillation beverage are classified below:

                • Whiskey
                • Vodka
                • Rum
                • Gin
                • Brandy
                • Tequila

       2.Non alcoholic beverage:

Non alcoholic beverage

Non alcoholic beverage are those beverage that doesn’t contain alcohol.

And Non alcoholic beverage are classified into three categories:

                     • Refreshing drink.
                     • stimulating drink.
                     • nourishing drink.

What is Refreshing drink :

Refreshing drink are those drink which help to refresh our body as well as our mind.

Example- fresh Lime soda,fresh lime water ,etc.

What is stimulating drink :

Stimulating drink are those drink which stimulate our body or which stimulate our nervous system.

Example- Tea ,Coffee

What is a nourishing drink:

Nourishing drink are those drink which provide nourishment to our body.

Example- Milk base drink, Horlicks,hot Chocolate,etc.
